Did you know Saint Patrick was a missionary to Ireland? He was born in Britain but when he was 16 he was taken captive and sold as a slave in Ireland. He escaped after 6 years and made his way back to Britain. He later returned to Ireland to share the gospel with the Irish people. St. Patrick's Day is on March 17, the day it is believed that Saint Patrick died in 460 AD.
Leprechauns, shamrocks, rainbows, and pots of gold have become symbols of St. Patrick's Day. But St. Patrick's Day is also a great opportunity to talk about the gospel and missionaries! So, here are 5 printable crafts to help you talk with your children or students about who Saint Patrick really was and some key biblical principles.
