Father's Day Tie Card

Looking for a fun and easy Father's Day gift idea that will warm Dad's heart? Why not try making a Father's Day tie card with your kids? It's a simple yet thoughtful way to show Dad how much you care.

Design Your Own Tie

Let your kids choose how to color the tie. Think about Dad's hobbies or interests, or simply go with a fun pattern that they think he'll love. Or to keep it simple by using the stripes version and use Dad's favorite colors or the colors of his favorite sports team. Any other NC State Wolfpack fans out there?

Answer Prompts Inside the Card

On the inside of the card, help your child answer the prompts about Dad. The prompts are heartwarming and age-appropriate, so your kids feel comfortable. No embarrassing questions, like guessing Dad's age! This is a great way to make the card even more special and meaningful.

Put it All Together

Once the inside of the card is ready, it's time to build the card. Cut out both ties and paste the decorated tie on top of the other tie, only gluing the knot.

Creating a Father's Day tie card is not only a fun activity for young kids, but it also allows them to show their love and appreciation for their dad in a meaningful way. So, gather your supplies, get creative, and make this Father's Day extra special with a handmade tie card that Dad will cherish forever!
