Why Legoland is Our Favorite Florida Theme Park

We went to LegoLand (Florida) when our kids were 7 and 4 years old. We absolutely loved it! My twins were in their Ninjago era. The rides were just right for their ages and the building activities were so fun. My kids still say Legoland is their favorite theme park in Florida!

Less Crowded, More Fun!

One of the things that we loved most about Legoland Florida was the manageable crowds. I don’t know if was just the week we were there in early spring or what, but the lines were minimal which meant we got to do lots and lots of rides.

Kid Sized Rides

My 7 year olds could ride all the rides. The roller coasters and more thrilling rides were designed for small riders. Many other theme parks we have been too, the kids were too small for the more thrilling rides.

Building Activities

Throughout the park there are various building activities with different formats. These were all indoors, which gives a break from the heat or rain. My kids loved getting to build and gives a break from lines and rides.

A Hotel Experience Like No Other

When it comes to theming, Legoland's hotel is top notch. From the moment you pull up, you'll be immersed in a world of colorful bricks and playful designs. The lobby is Lego, the rooms are Lego, characters make appearances. The theming is so impressive.

Hotel is Steps Away From the Park Entrance

One of the best things about staying at the Legoland hotel is how close it is to the park. Just steps away, you'll find yourself at the entrance, ready to embark on a day of adventure and fun. No need to worry about bus rides or parking hassles.

Apple Fries

We discovered Apple Fries topped with ice cream and caramel sauce! Apples sliced like fries, fried, and covered in cinnamon sugar! This treat is heavenly. We had it multiple times during the 3 days we were there. One day we had apples fries for lunch!

Counting Down the Days

Because my kids could hardly contain their excitement leading up to our trip, I created a countdown for them to help them see how long until LegoLand. Get your printable countdown, gather your family, and get ready for a vacation you'll never forget!

One other thing I want to mention is how much our kids enjoyed trading mini figs with park staff. We took a few minifigs from home in a little pouch that they carried on a lego lanyard so they were always ready to make a trade if they spotted a cool minifig.

With its charm, creativity, and family-friendly atmosphere, Legoland Florida is a destination that truly stands out. From the thrilling rides to the immersive theming, every moment spent at Legoland is a moment to treasure. So pack your bags, grab your printable countdown, and get ready for a magical adventure that will create memories to last a lifetime!
